Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional care to underserved communities. As an LPN at our center, you will play a critical role in our patient care team, working directly with patients to implement effective nursing care plans and contribute to their long-term health success. Administer nursing care to patients as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with standards of nursing practices Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions and vital signs Conduct basic diagnostic tests, collect patient health history, and assist with patient mobility Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of the environment and equipment Educate and update patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care Collaborate with registered nurses, doctors, and administrative staff to ensure effective patient care delivery Handle patient documentation with confidentiality and accuracy Participate in health education and community outreach programs Strong clinical skills and proficiency in patient care Ability to operate medical equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Capability to handle sensitive information confidentially Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active LPN license in the state of practice CPR certification and additional certification in geriatric or pediatric nursing preferred
