This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment, assisting radiologists with various diagnostic imaging procedures and enhancing patient care. The Radiology Assistant will be instrumental in preparing patients, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Prepare and position patients for radiographic imaging procedures. Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively. Ensure all radiology environments adhere to health and safety protocols. Administer non-intravenous injections as prescribed by the supervising radiologist. Manage imaging procedure scheduling and patient records. Provide assistance to radiologists during complex diagnostic procedures. Facilitate effective communication between the radiology department and other healthcare teams. Proficiency in radiology imaging and handling equipment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced medical environment High attention to detail with a commitment to patient care and confidentiality Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to radiology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) BLS certification required
