Sanford Health, a premier health system and one of the largest providers of health care services in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our team. The Radiology Assistant will be responsible for supporting our radiology department across various Sanford Health facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and efficiency of our radiology services, assisting radiographers and radiologists in the preparation and performance of diagnostic imaging procedures and patient care. Assist radiologists and radiographers in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring comfort. Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Manage imaging supplies inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials. Support in the processing of images and data entry to maintain accurate patient records. Proficiency with radiology software and imaging equipment Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks Knowledge of health and safety standards in a radiological environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
