Job Title: Locum Gastroenterologist Summary:

Join a dedicated medical team at a renowned healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. This practice is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for locum coverage, providing essential hospital and call coverage. You ll be working in a supportive environment without the pressures of a clinic, focusing on patient care and critical procedures.

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care including consultations and procedures.
• Perform required procedures such as colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, proctoscopy, and more.
• Manage hospitalized GI patients and oversee their treatment plans.
• Conduct rounds and provide inpatient care, with approximately 5 to 6 patients per day.
• Address acute GI issues as they arise, including management of GI bleeds.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Ensure high-quality patient care while on 24-hour call, including weekend coverage.

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required).
• ND State License (Highly Preferred) or IMLC license acceptable.
• BLS Certification (Required).
• DEA License required during credentialing.
• Experience in ERCP is highly preferred.
• Clear malpractice history is highly preferred.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days is mandatory at presentation.

All candidates must possess the following:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• State License North Dakota or pending license/IMLC.
• BLS Certification.
• DEA License.
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
