As a Health Unit Coordinator , you will coordinate information and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and the best possible experience for our residents and visitors. Our ideal candidate has knowledge of medical terminology, prior experience, and takes pride in being dependable, organized, and team focused. Position Type: Part-Time including rotating every 3 rd or 4 th weekend Shifts Available: Days: 8:00 am -4:30 pm Location: 3400 Nebraska Drive, Bismarck, ND 58503 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities: Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy. Schedule medical appointments and transportation. Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data. Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors. Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies. Complete other tasks as requested. Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Qualifications: Experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications. Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
