Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and rewarding environment, focused on providing excellent medical care to underserved communities. This role involves assessing patient needs, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical health and overall well-being. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and support community health initiatives. Evaluate patients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures and functional ability tests. Plan and implement therapeutic interventions using effective treatment techniques. Document patient care and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and home care strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate treatment. Assist in community health programs focused on promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. Strong understanding of physiological treatment modalities and diagnostic physical health testing. Ability to craft individualized treatment plans based on complex symptoms. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. A keen awareness of privacy laws and professionalism regarding patient confidentiality. Optional certifications: Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) or similar preferred but not required.
