ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement • Holiday requirement every other holiday • MS Float unit with 61 combined beds • Nurse-to-patient ratios: Days 1:5 and Nights 1:6 • Nurse aide support available with 1:15 ratio • Care for surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery • Manage medical patients with CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues • Work with telemetry monitoring - monitor techs read strips, RN confirms • Operate RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen • No drip titration required • Floating requirements apply - first to float policy • Call/standby requirement with LCD • Any scrub color acceptable • Use EPIC charting system • BSN not required • BLS certification required • Unit-specific orientation with travel CBO and float checklist • Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if under 13 weeks) Facility: This acute care medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on surgical and medical patient care.
