Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and diligent Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support our mission of offering exemplary medical services to underserved communities, emphasizing holistic healthcare and wellness. You will work closely with medical staff to deliver patient care that promotes the health, comfort, and recovery of patients, aligning with our core values of empathy, integrity, and patient-centered service. Assist nurses and other medical staff in delivering patient care in various healthcare settings. Monitor patient vital signs and report any critical changes to the nursing staff in a timely manner. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and/or moving patients. Record all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in the appropriate format. Support patient ambulation and exercise, following a care plan tailored to individual patient needs. Engage with patients in a manner that respects their privacy and dignity, upholding Good Samaritan Health Center’s commitment to holistic, patient-centric care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate medical equipment and perform routine tasks. Knowledge of infection control practices. Capacity to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality. Empathy and the ability to care for the physically or mentally challenged.
