Clean Harbors is seeking a proactive and dedicated Vac Sales and Service Rep I to join our dynamic sales team. This position is crucial in promoting and delivering world-class environmental, energy, and industrial solutions that align with our mission of safeguarding the environment. The role involves driving sales within assigned territories through direct client interactions and providing expert advice on our specialized services including hazardous waste disposal, emergency spill response, and industrial cleaning. Identify and target new sales opportunities through effective territory management and market research. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through regular meetings, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit while considering environmental protection standards. Coordinate with the service team to ensure successful delivery of our services, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Contribute to and participate in industry expos and seminars to uphold company reputation and expand network. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations during sales processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to negotiate and influence decision-makers Solid understanding of the environmental services industry Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Aptitude for problem-solving and decision making Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification preferred Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards
