We headquartered in Bismarck, ND, our mission is to achieve universal prosperity with our customers, family of companies, team members, and our communities.Location: This position can be based out of the following locations: Bismarck, NDESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned:

  • To generate and submit sales leads for those accounts requesting or requiring Business Development Representative attention.
  • To cold call prospects and qualify small volume accounts and explore opportunities to increase revenue in a specified sales territory.
  • Find, build, and maintain business across multiple services provided by NA and its affiliates with a focus on, but not limited to asset-light offerings.
  • Follow up on Unused quote reports on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain account information, as well as complete sales and call reports as company guidelines require.
  • Target specific areas (defined by Sales Manager) to identify decision makers to begin the sales process.
  • Make phone calls to existing customers to grow bill counts and revenue in areas that are beneficial for operations.
  • Obtain, forward, and answer sales leads.
  • Overcome objections on prospective customers
  • Negotiate rate increases when necessary.
  • Use lead researching tools to assist outside sales with contacting the right person and researching a company for new business.
  • Advancing the sales process and achieve a specified growth goal.
  • Report new, lost or business at risk on a weekly basis.
  • Work inbound and outbound leads in a timely manner, as well as generate leads for others in the sales arena
  • Assist in Revenue collections
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches and support Business Development Representatives on shared accounts to grow revenue.QUALIFICATIONS
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
    • Sales or Telemarketing experience is an asset.
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm and willingness to assist others
    • Organized with the ability to juggle several tasks at once.
    • Can easily develop good rapport and trust.
    • Performs responsibilities with minimal supervision. Takes initiative and manages time well.
    • Negotiation skills.
    • Gathers information and establishes priorities to bring structured thinking to a highly unstructured environment. Gets involved in the details and connects with individuals and teams to create solutions for an outstanding customer experience.
    • Works well under pressure.
    • Able to travel as needed
