A sign-on bonus of $1500.00.--DFA Pollock--has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. This position is to cover vacation time for other Maintenance Personnel.-- 40 plus hours per week, times will vary depending on projects and co-workers vacation days. Cheese production is normally Monday - Friday with weekends dedicated for maintenance projects.-- Overtime is paid over 8 hr shiftsMaintenance Technicians oversee that all equipment and systems within the facility are performing properly and efficiently. --JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES--. Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of various systems withing the plant . Monitor facility utility systems: boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, etc.. Perform general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned. Basic electrical knowledge of single and three phase. Basic experience with process logic controllers, variable frequency drives and HMI's. Basic computer knowledge. Basic knowledge to read drawings and flow diagrams. Perform daily and weekly housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Follow company safety rules and use appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) and safety gear . Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor--EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. 2 years demonstrated work experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on manufacturing and plant equipment, machinery, and controls is preferred but not limiting. --Will train the right person. Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment preferred by not required.
