tractors and yard tractors. Responsible for diagnosing and
repairing medium to heavyduty refrigerated trucks and
trailers.SCHEDULE:Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pmESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform
Preventive Maintenance, Inspections and General RepairsAir and
Hydraulic Brake Diagnostics & Repairs including ABS
systemsElectrical Diagnostics and RepairDiagnose and repair
Liftgate systems, Weld and Fabricate as neededDiagnose drivelines,
steering, suspensions and repairCharge all parts to repair
ordersPerform Tire and Wheel End Maintenance as neededPerform
quality work and quantity productionRepair order entry and time
accountability in RTA Maintenance ProgramAssist mechanics in
repairs and continue to learn advanced diagnostics, repairs and
systemsPerforms other relevant job duties as required.JOB
REQUIREMENTS:Preferred 2 years mechanical experience in related
mechanical field or technical training and 1 year of
experience.Have all hand tools required for applicable
areas.Experience in driving/moving Class A equipment
preferredCertifications in tire and wheel, brakes, HVAC, FHWA DOT
Inspections preferredHave all hand tools required for applicable
areas.Must be able to repair brakes, rear doors, air systems, and
electrical systems with minimal supervisionMust work well
independently and as a team to achieve goalsMust have a valid
driver s license, 21 years of age or olderPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/
DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand. sit; use hands to finger, handle,
orfeel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Incumbent may
use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in
the course of normal workdayStooping, bending, twisting and
reaching may be required in completion of job dutiesAbility to lift
up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn
frequently.Exposed to temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 90
degrees Fahrenheit in shop operation.Ability to do repetitious arm,
wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service
procedures.Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and
to work in, on, or under the equipment.Requires manual dexterity,
overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level
and in high places toperform job duties. Ability to operate work
related equipmentSpecific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, andability to adjust focus.All qualified applicants
