Job Description:
adjacent to the base.--- Practical knowledge of all applicable
federal, state, and local transportation safety policies,
regulations, and laws; and of applicable labor/management memoranda
of understanding/agreements.--- Basic knowledge of the
characteristics and capacities of a variety of motor vehicles, and
knowledge of standard dispatching rules, processes, and
procedures.--- Knowledge of established planning and scheduling
methods sufficient to carry out duties/assignments.--- Ability to
operate a two-way radio, using proper radio proceduresAbility to
operate basic word processing, spreadsheet, and activity scheduling
programs and/or computer systemsA qualified typist is not
requiredAbility to communicate orally and in writing
effectively.--- Ability to plan, estimate, schedule, and expedite
activities of customer-oriented transportation work centerPART-TIME
OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid
and or part-time workYou must clearly identify the duties and
