The Infrastructure Delivery team is one of the most critical teams
at OCI. We are introducing revolutionary SAAS, IAAS and PAAS
products to the marketplace and because many of these products are
being built new, we are experiencing tremendous growth in our Data
Engineering and Analytics team.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of
advanced technical/business skills in the area of data analytics.If

As a Business Analyst, you will develop and implement ideas that
drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and driving
automation. This position provides opportunities to influence one
of the high visibility/high impact areas in the organization.
Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Oracle, NoSQL etc.
experience
A BS or MS degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Data
Science, Operations Research, Applied Math, Statistics, Analytics)
or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area is
desired.
Skills in data visualization (Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau,
Power BI, or similar)
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL
pipelines
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and
Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a
business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency,
and compliance in support of the organization's financial and
tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and
processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on
business practices and processes.
Responsibilities

Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and
drive business decisions
Mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using
SQL and log files by writing scripts (ex. PERL, Python, R,
UNIX)
Learn and use the latest data analytics techniques, Cloud Analytics
tools including Oracle Analytics Cloud and their associated
AI/Machine learning capabilities to deliver reports, visualizations
and dashboards for the business stakeholders.
Develop deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboards
Serve as liaison between the business and technical teams to
achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current
business performance. This will require data gathering and
manipulation, synthesis and modeling, running simulations, problem
solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific
to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $27.79 to $60.63 per hour; from $57,800 to
$126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market
conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing
products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years
of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working
between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20
hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each
year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
