Guardians Group Distribution Compensation team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Leader, Group Distribution Compensation , to lead delivery of our various Group compensation systems. Reporting to the Head of Group Distribution Compensation Strategy, this role will lead and manage development and delivery of new and existing programs in support of compensation systems, tools, policies, and programs. This is a newly created role that will be responsible for driving prioritization, progress, and business ownership, supporting all aspects of business requirements, user stories and testing to ensure timely and accurate delivery of automated compensation systems. This person will collaborate effectively to solve distribution compensation problems, implement new solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual that has the ability to connect the dots and drive work towards desired execution.You areA seasoned professional leading sales compensation system, with exceptional program management, product delivery, process management, and communication skills as you will work closely with our senior business leaders, Enterprise Solutions Delivery, and IT teams, amongst other internal groups. Strategic thought leadership, an optimistic solutions-oriented attitude, desire to motivate teams and a drive for achieving superior business results is a must. The right person will be process-oriented, and possess background in sales compensation, project management, and people management.You have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience with minimum 5 years of sales compensation system experience with progressively increasing responsibility and complexity of work
  • 3+ years of experience with implementation of compensation systems, including program management, resource allocation, change management, business requirements, user stories, testing documentation, and associated responsibilities
  • Good knowledge of broker compensation concepts, sales data tracking processes, and methodologies
  • Exemplary organizational skills with a can do attitude
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully executing against tight deadlines, with a collaborative mind-set
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues
  • Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams
  • Clear and concise communication with the ability to synthesize complex data or business problems into actionable information to drive results
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with good attention to detail while still keeping the big picture in mind
  • Project management experience with a results-oriented mindset leveraging relationships to ensure deadlines are met
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint with strong ability to build audience-specific presentations
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Ability to organize and accomplish objectives independently and proactively
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop a course of actionPreferred Qualifications
    • Management consulting experience
    • Prior Program Management experience a plus

      • Provide oversight and manage audit and quality of compensation tools and systems to ensure timely and accurate delivery of internal and external compensation payments
      • Drive successful management for Group Distribution Compensation portfolio, driving projects and managing expectations (scope, results, timeline, risks, budget) in a highly dynamic and fluid working environment
      • Continuously monitor and look for ways to proactively modernize and optimize our processes through standardization and automation in alignment with Group business strategies and compensation policies
      • Report and identify scalable initiatives to generate a high level of accuracy, timeliness and efficiency in various end-to-end compensation processes and increase positive field and producer experience
      • Build and maintain strong partnerships proactively across Distribution leadership including sales, product, operations, technology, ESD and legal teams by fostering open dialogue, effective collaboration and providing creative solutions to issues in real time in alignment with Group compensation policies and administration
      • Develop executive briefing materials, including monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reviews with stakeholders
      • Proactively communicate to raise issues, anticipate business needs, and recommend and lead solutions
      • Lead, hire, develop and manage a team of Business Analysts. Cross train team members and develop successors for key areas supported by well documented succession and contingency plans

The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
