Our employees make a difference within our Cooperative and the community while delivering value to our members.--Starting at $17.94/hr with $1.00/hr night premium when working from 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm.-- A sign-on bonus of $1500--DFA Pollock--has an immediate opening for--Production Worker.----No experience required; training provided. This position will Monday - Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are normally scheduled off.-- Hours can vary slightly depending on production volumes. ----The Production Worker is responsible for handling, packaging, and cleaning up cheese in a production facility.----JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES--. Ability to handle 40-50-pound blocks of cheese. Assemble, operate, and disassemble cheese production equipment in the packaging area. Walk, bend, and stand for the duration of the shift. Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.. Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.. Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity. Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
