Overview:Our client Weisz & Sons Inc. located in Bismarck, ND, has a career opportunity for a Pipe Foreman. The position is a permanent/seasonal, safety oriented, Pipe Foreman for sewer and waterline construction. Job requirements include experience installing water, sewer, and storm sewer pipe. Ability to work 50-60 hours a week, which may include occasional weekends. Must have a current valid driver's license. Wage is negotiable depending on experience.Job duties will include:Coordinating and supervising a safe pipe crew in collaboration with the Project Manager and Superintendent.Conducting daily job progress reports, job hazard assessments and corrective actions.Understanding and reading underground plans and specifications.Understanding grade, slope elevations and operations of grade equipment.Assembling and installing water, sewer and storm sewer pipe.Training new employees.Testing water lines.Occasional heavy equipment operation.Management of materials being delivered to projects.Desired skills include:Knowledge of ND DOT and City of Bismarck specifications is a plus.OSHA "competent person" status a plus.Weisz & Sons offers a generous benefit package and career opportunity.
