This position supervises, trains, and schedules our Direct Support Professionals. Program Supervisors also work closely with our customers to deliver superior services, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and transportation. Community Options exists to help people live individually and be active in their community.Essential Skills and Experience:High school diploma or GEDExperience with Developmental Disabilities (DD) programs requiredSupervisory experience preferredSuccessful completion of required training including DD certification; CPR/First Aid certifiedPre-employment drug screen, background check and insurable driving recordValid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job dutiesOther Skills and Experience:Good organizational and communication skills; team playerProficiency with computers and related software, e.g. Microsoft Office, TherapPhysical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
