Job Description GTUIT Electrical Engineer General: GTUIT, LLC provides comprehensive solutions to reclaim gas resources at the wellsite and repurpose that valuable energy for the beneficial uses for industry and communities.

The Position & Responsibilities: The GTUIT Electrical Engineer position will report directly to the Lead Electrical Engineer as well as interact frequently with the entire engineering team including the Vice President of Engineering. The position will include both office and field work to accomplish the companys primary objectives: Develop engineering solutions in the form of new product designs that address the needs of GTUIT customers Work with field personnel to implement product changes/improvements across the range of deployed GTUIT equipment Travel on occasion to GTUIT customer locations to work with field personnel and GTUIT customers Take part in commissioning of new equipment at GTUIT manufacturing locations and customer sites Work with engineering and executive team members in evaluating new product opportunities Adhere to the companys procedures and safety protocols. Must be an active participant in the participation and advancement of GTUITs safety culture. Qualifications Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited institution. BSEE applicants with military training/experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Preferred candidate will have some experience involving: Design, production and maintenance of electrical systems. Creating new electrical designs and drawings and understanding/experience in electrical drawing version control PLC/PAC programming Electrical design background that includes component selection and vendor interaction Must be very hands-on with aptitude for both designing AND working on equipment. Hands-on technical experience is a must. Must possess very strong verbal and written communication skills. This position will interact daily with GTUIT stakeholders both inside and outside the company. Power systems design experience is a plus Background in both design and troubleshooting of both high voltage and low voltage systems Experience with automation and controls, PLC ladder logic, and industrial control architecture is preferred Engineering math skills with the ability to apply electrical methods such as circuit analysis, ohms law, Boolean logic, etc. to engineering problems Troubleshooting and resolving complicated electrical problems that included testing, problem isolation, repairing and servicing of technical equipment is preferred. Applicant must be very safety conscious with ability to work safely in highly monitored work environments Familiarity with mobile PC tools and applications Experience in electrical design, service and/or troubleshooting of oil-field and/or energy related equipment is a plus English literacy Ability to correctly distinguish colors within electrical wiring/panels and electrical schematics Must have a clean driving record and be able to operate company vehicles in a safe manner Ability to pass pre-employment screening criteria including a background check and drug test Ability to travel to customer sites as needed and work a varied schedule during product deployments and/or product commissioning Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs GTUIT offers an attractive compensation package that includes, a competitive salary, a Qualified 401K plan, paid health insurance for employees, paid vacation time, and other benefits.
