Overview: CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck is an acute care
medical center offering a full line of inpatient and outpatient
medical services, including primary and specialty physician
clinics; home health and hospice services; durable medical
equipment services and a fitness and human performance center.
Since our founding in 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck has
been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western
North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.
We are a Roman Catholic organization whose sponsors are the
Sisters of St. Benedict of the Annunciation Monastery, Bismarck, ND
and as an organization we follow the Ethical and Religious
Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as promulgated by the

ResponsibilitiesThe cleanliness of our facilities is a direct
reflection of how we care for our patients and employees. To us,

What you'll do: Meets with Team Leader on a daily basis to
confer on special cleaning needs, problems and work schedule
Assists in cleaning emergency spills and sanitizes and
sterilizes clinic areas
Monitors floor care cleaning inventory and notifies the Team
Leader of product needs in a timely manner
Provides back-up support to, and assists with the duties of the
Environmental Services Technician as requested
Identifies and reports any unsafe/unsanitary conditions to Team
Education: Completion of High School Education or equivalent.
Valid driver license.
Experience: Prefer experience in cleaning and disinfecting of
patient care areas.
Skills: Ability to understand and complete written and verbal
instructions. Ability to measure chemicals. Ability to drive riding
Interpersonal Skills: Relates well with staff, patients of all
ages, and visitors. Maintains confidentiality.
Physical Effort: Light -20 pounds infrequently, 10 pounds or
less frequently; 2.5 MPH with no grade or slower speed with 10
pounds or less. Stands or walks 90 to 95% of the 8 hour shift. Must
be able to move various types of carts with loads up to 100 pounds
independently. Must be able to work various heights. Must be able
to work outdoors and is exposed to weather conditions.
