Community Options has a unique opportunity within our Human Resource department as a Human Resource (HR) Generalist. This position serves as the human resource business partner for Community Options. This role provides high-quality support and service to management regarding human resource issues such as staffing, recruitment, and employee relations. In addition, this role is responsible to perform a wide range of human resource compliance, policy, and process administration.

    • Rewarding work impacting the lives of those you serve! The salary for this position is $20.00- $25.00/ hour depending on experience (DOE).

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications
      • Requires an associate degree with coursework in human resources education or a related field and two (2) years of experience performing complex human resource work or related duties. College level coursework may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year for year basis
      • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job duties
      • Successfully pass a criminal background check, and drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
      • Completion of training as required by Community Options Essential Skills and Experience:
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and use of personal computers
        • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
        • Effective time management and organizational skills
        • Customer service experience and strong customer orientation
        • Strong team player and commitment to company values
        • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
        • Ability to motivate and coach
