Job Summary : We are looking for a banquet server to provide table service and hospitality to our banquet guests. They will help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable and professional banquet dining room and serving area by insuring quality service and operational standards. Medical and Dental Insurance PTO Competitive Pay 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Life Insurance Disability Insurance Hotel Room Discounts Ongoing Training and Career Development Responsibilities: Work in the banquet rooms to provide table service and hospitality to our guests Take food and beverage orders and serve them accurately with all details and accompaniments Professionally represent the hotel and property when interacting with guests from the community and industry organizations Ability to work shifts involving set up, cleanup, and tear down procedures Learn and maintain proper Health Department standards and codes Learn and maintain proper food, bar and wine menu knowledge Communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently. Other duties as required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred 1 year prior food and beverage service experience preferred Proper uniform is required and must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance Attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position May be required to work varying schedules Ability to read and write basic English Ability to multi-task Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workday Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Regency Hotel Management rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities.
