CHI St. Alexius is seeking locum Interventional Radiology (IR) coverage with a schedule that offers 8a 4p day coverage (typically) plus evening call 4p 8a and 24-hour weekend call ideal for clinicians who value a clear, defined shift structure. What You ll Do

• Provide general Interventional Radiology coverage for the facility s IR service line
• Perform and manage a broad range of vascular and non-neuro interventional procedures
• Support emergency and urgent cases during evening call and weekend 24-hour call
• Perform procedures including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization therapy
• Provide interventional services such as vascular access device placements and central lines, including port-a-cath insertions
• Perform image-guided interventions including drainage procedures, biopsies, paracentesis/thoracentesis, IVC filters, TIPS, and vessel-based therapies
• Support complex IR workflows consistent with the unit s established procedure mix

What You NeedRequired

• MD/DO (physician role) with IR general experience
• Active North Dakota (ND) license (credentialing and enrollment paperwork required prior to start)
• Ability to perform the general IR procedure list (stroke capability is preferred but not required)
• Board-appropriate competency to perform common IR diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Preferred

• Stroke capability (e.g., neuro stroke thrombectomy) preferred but not required
• Experience performing a high volume of IR procedures during on-site shifts (typical on-site day shift varies procedures)

About the Assignment
CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck is looking for locum IR coverage to address a schedule gap. The assignment requires general IR experience first, with stroke capability secondary. Scheduling includes 8:00 AM 4:00 PM coverage with evening call (4:00 PM 8:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend call. This opportunity is supported by an Epic EMR environment.
