What You ll Do

• Provide general IR clinical coverage for an established interventional radiology service
• Perform a broad range of vascular and non-neuro interventional procedures
• Support patient care across routine weekday schedules and on-call coverage (including evenings and weekends)
• Handle on-call/emergency cases as needed; callback needs vary depending on circumstances
• Perform procedures listed by the IR team, including (but not limited to):
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions (including angiography, angioplasty, stenting)
  • Thrombolytic therapy and embolization therapy
  • Vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, Port-a-cath insertions
  • IVC filters and TIPS
  • Aspiration/drainage procedures, percutaneous needle biopsies, and abscess drainage
  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other image-guided interventions
  • Liver Y90/TACE and nephrostomy/ureteral stent related procedures
  • Pain management procedures (including joint/epidural injections)
  • Cryoablation and additional IR procedures as needed
• Use Epic for documentation (EMR)

What You Need
Required

• Active North Dakota (ND) medical license (credentialing paperwork and enrollment required prior to start)
• IR general experience (stroke capability is preferred, not required)
• Ability to perform the general IR procedure list in order of priority
• Willingness to participate in scheduled call coverage (evening + weekend 24-hour call)

Preferred

• Stroke capability (e.g., neuro stroke thrombectomy), preferred but not required
