Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

The role involves performing essential urologic procedures including cystoscopy and dilation, with no robotics required. The practice is set within a hospital, ensuring easy access to necessary resources and support staff. Physicians are expected to conduct rounding during the week on post-operative patients and consults when on day call, ensuring continuity of care.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This opportunity requires commitment to one weekend per month, with 24-hour call coverage from Friday morning through Monday morning. This ongoing need provides stability and allows for continuity in patient care. Physicians can expect to manage an average of 1-5 callback hours during their shifts, ensuring a manageable workload while delivering high-quality care.

Support and Work Environment

Work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals including 3 registered nurses and 1 certified nursing assistant, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centered care. The facility utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system, facilitating efficient patient management and communication within the team.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Urology preferred; Board Eligible within 5 years from residency will be considered.
• Possession of a North Dakota medical license is highly preferred.
• Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
• Submission of case logs for review during the presentation and offer stages.
