As we expand our team, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support our mission. This role involves not only fundamental patient care but also mentoring junior CNAs and ensuring high standards of culturally competent care for our diverse patient population. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities. Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine. Mentor and train junior CNAs, providing guidance in effective patient care techniques. Ensure the cultural competence and sensitivity in patient care activities. Participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Strong interpersonal skills Proficient in basic patient care activities Able to use all standard medical and patient care equipment Excellent observation skills to detect changes in patient’s condition Ability to communicate and instruct effectively in a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CNA certification CPR and First Aid certification preferred Additional training or certification in geriatric, palliative, or acute care nursing is a plus
