Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CMA at our center, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized, compassionate care and managing our patients' overall experience from check-in through treatment. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth facility operation Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments Instruct patients on medication, special diets, and healthcare maintenance Administer medications as directed by a physician Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, inventory supplies and instruments Facilitate patient check-in and check-out, maintain records, and schedule appointments Implement and adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures Proficiency in clinical procedures Strong administrative and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
