Job Description:
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical
Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the
operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and
well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing
equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum
Requirements: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
credential via NBSTSA or equivalent national certification. ND UAP
accepted where applicable. BLS certification required. Minimum 1
year of perioperative experience. Candidate must be proficient in
either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics. For General/Robotics, must
have experience with open abdominal cases, GYN procedures, and
robotic systems such as Da Vinci XI and ION. For Ortho/Neuro, must
have experience with total joints, arthroscopies, and neuro-spinal
procedures. Experience with robotic platforms (Da Vinci XI, ION)
and scope/endoscopy experience preferred. Stryker tower familiarity
preferred. Experience charting in EPIC preferred. Willingness to
float for cross-training to ortho cases and to float to the floor
as a 1:1 sitter. Willingness to work rotating schedules, weekends,
and holidays as required. Profile review and manager interview
required prior to hire. Assignment Details: Facility type:
Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift details: Days 0700-1900 (3x12
schedule). Schedule notes: Primary schedule M-F 0645-1515 with
occasional variations including 0900-1730, 1100-1930, 1500-2330 and
weekend 0700-1930. Staff may cover weeknight call 1515-0645 one to
two times per week and weekend call approximately every 3rd–4th
weekend (Fri 1515–Mon 0645) and rotating holidays. Orientation:
Approximately 4–5 unit-specific days plus 2 buddy call shifts. 12
hours of orientation time noted. Floating: Must be willing to float
to cross-train to other specialties and to perform 1:1 sitter
duties when needed. Call expectations: 15-minute response time.
Post-call reprieve of 8 hours. Sleep room available onsite. Unit:
Operating Room (Tech). Department includes 12 OR suites, 1
endoscopy suite, 1 cysto suite. Location Highlights Bismarck, ND
offers access to outdoor recreation and cultural attractions. The
Missouri River runs through the city and provides fishing and
riverfront trails within a 5–10 minute drive of downtown. The city
is adjacent to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, about 15 miles
south, offering historic sites and hiking trails. The North Dakota
Heritage Center is in downtown Bismarck within walking distance of
many restaurants and museums, supporting an urban yet quiet
lifestyle. Interstate 94 provides regional transit connections with
a roughly 1.5-hour drive to Minot and direct road access across the
state. The area supports seasonal activities including snowmobiling
in winter and kayaking in summer, fitting both active and
