Job Description:

communities. We're looking for a dedicated Certified Medication
Assistant to support our mission of delivering comprehensive,
holistic health and wellness outcomes. In this role, you will be
responsible for administering prescribed medications to patients
and monitoring for side-effects, ensuring that all medication
procedures meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.
Administer oral and topical medications as prescribed by the
healthcare provider. Record medication dosages and times of
administration in patient records. Monitor patients for adverse
reactions to medications and report any complications to healthcare
professionals immediately. Educate patients on medication
compliance and safety, ensuring understanding of dosage and
medication schedules. Maintain an organized and clean medication
cart and storage area to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Participate in regular staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
to stay updated on policy changes and advancements in medication
management. Strong knowledge of medication types, uses, and
administration methods. Excellent attention to detail and precision
in administering and documenting medications. Ability to
communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
team members. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Assistant
(CMA) certification mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification preferred.
