Good Samaritan Health Center is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Our LPNs play a vital role in providing focused care to those in underserved communities, ensuring holistic health and wellness outcomes. In this position, you will be working under the direction of registered nurses and doctors, administering medications, taking vital signs, and contributing to patient health records. Your empathetic nature and rigorous nursing skills will directly enhance the lives of individuals in our care while upholding our mission of comprehensive, compassionate service. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within scope of practice Monitor and record patient vital signs and health concerns, updating health records regularly Communicate health management and treatment plans to patients and their families Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to devise individualized care plans Maintain hygiene and safety standards in managing patient care Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families Coordinate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care and outcomes Proficient in administering medications and managing IVs Ability to monitor vital signs and patient recovery Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capability in handling high-stress situations Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols and infection control Empathetic and compassionate patient care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state LPN license CPR certification First Aid training preferred
