Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A unique opportunity is available for experienced Operating Room Technicians with expertise in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics specialties, seeking to expand their skills through travel assignments. This role is based in Mandan, ND, within a facility known for high-tech surgical suites and a supportive team environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional ORT experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics settings. Certifications Required: BLS, CST or NCCT, ND Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP). Proficiency or willingness to be cross-trained in specialty practices including Open Bellies for GYN, Da Vinci Xi robotics, ION robotic cases, and endoscopy/GI scopes. Ability and willingness to float to various specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and assist as a 1:1 sitter on the floor with provided training. Flexibility to work holidays, weekends on rotation, and participate in on-call duties with a 15-minute response time. Responsibilities: Assist in a busy OR setting with up to 12 OR suites plus specialized endoscopy and cystoscopy suites. Support a wide range of cases from pediatrics to geriatrics, including total joint replacements, spinal fusions, arthroscopies, cystoscopy, and robotic surgeries. Collaborate closely with charge nurses and surgical teams during 8-hour rotating shifts. Adhere to call schedules and maintain readiness for emergent cases, utilizing provided sleep rooms and onsite housing options when on call. Maintain professionalism and adapt to dynamic environments with a family-oriented departmental culture.
