Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Bismarck, North Dakota,
58501! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN
(Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8H Days, Mon-Fri Hours per Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM;
Weekends and holidays on call in rotation Experience: Minimum of 3
years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification
Must-Have: Proficiency in either Orthopedic/Neuro OR
General/Robotics Description: Candidates must be proficient in
either Orthopedic/Neuro or General/Robotics. The department has 12
operating rooms, 1 endoscopy suite, and 1 cystoscopy suite. An
average of 25-30 cases are handled daily. Common cases include
General/Robotics, pediatric and geriatric cases, cystoscopy, and
various robotic cases. Experience with open abdominal surgeries and
gynecology procedures is required. Experience with the Davinci XI
robot and endoscopy is advantageous. Scrubbing is not required for
this position. A charge nurse is present for all shifts from 7 AM
to 11 PM during weekdays and 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends. Operating
room technicians are available to support the team. Electronic
medical records are managed using Epic. Scheduling is done by a
clinical supervisor. Weekend and holiday call rotation is required,
with a response time of 15 minutes expected. On-call staff have an
8-hour reprieve following their shifts, and accommodations are
available for resting. Candidates must be willing to float to
cross-train in other specialty cases and assist in direct patient
care as needed. Refusal to float may result in unpaid time off.
Scrub attire will be provided. Orientation will involve multiple
shifts of unit-based training and buddy call shifts. This
department fosters a family atmosphere. RNs are not required to
scrub. Additional flexibility to pick up extra shifts may be
