Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Garrison, ND Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,056 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Garrison, North Dakota, 58540! Job Title: LTC/SNF RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Every Other Week Hours per Shift: 36 Hours per Week Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: LTC experience Description: The unit consists of 26 beds dedicated to long-term care. The nurse acts as charge and is responsible for medication administration and wound care. Common diagnoses include heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. The nurse-to-resident ratio is 1:10 during the day and 1:19 at night. There are no IVs, titratable drips, or telemetry monitoring on this unit. Physician availability after hours is by phone on-call. Interdisciplinary team support includes physical therapy as needed and a social worker designee. Respiratory therapy is not on-site, and equipment includes concentrators and portable concentrators. The medication dispensing system is off-site. Shifts are 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, with no blocked schedules or self-scheduling. Weekend requirements are every other week, and holiday requirements include every other major holiday. There are no call or standby requirements. The dress code requires a clean and presentable appearance. The unit-specific orientation consists of 2 to 3 shifts. The radius rule is 50 miles. Candidates may not hold any full-time, part-time, or PRN positions with any associated facilities. RTO must be provided upfront, and additional time off requests will not be approved. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is MatrixCare.
