Good Samaritan Health Center, a cornerstone of excellence in providing healthcare in underserved communities, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to holistic health and wellness outcomes. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and support, working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the best possible care in line with our mission to serve and uplift the health of our community. Assist in the daily care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient health to nurses and other healthcare team members. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients at all times. Support patients with mobility, including helping with walking and transferring patients to and from wheelchairs. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families. Assist with medical procedures as directed by a registered nurse or physician. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Basic knowledge of healthcare and patient care skills. Capable of physically assisting patients, including lifting and moving patients as needed. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. CPR/BLS Certification is required.
