Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and skilled
Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. Dedicated to improving
the well-being of our community, our center emphasizes holistic
health outcomes and tailors treatments to the needs of underserved
populations. As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work
closely with patients of all ages to design and implement
rehabilitation programs that foster physical health and improve
overall quality of life. This role requires excellence in patient
care, a thorough understanding of physical therapy modalities, and
a commitment to ongoing education and community wellness
initiatives. Assess patient conditions through interviews and
physical examinations to develop appropriate therapeutic treatment
plans. Implement physical therapy interventions, tailored to
patient needs, to promote ability to move, reduce pain, restore
function, and prevent disability. Evaluate effects of therapy
treatment and communicate patients' progress to relevant healthcare
team members. Maintain patient records and documentation in
accordance with facility and regulatory policies. Engage in
professional development opportunities to keep abreast of the
latest trends and treatments in physical therapy that can benefit
our unique patient population. Advocate for patient needs and
participate in community outreach programs aimed to promote health
and wellness in underserved areas. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy
treatments and modalities Ability to design and execute
personalized treatment plans Proficiency in using physical therapy
equipment and tools Capacity to handle a high workload under
pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k A valid state license to practice as a Physical
Therapist CPR certified Optional but beneficial: Certification in a
specialty area (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics)
