Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a motivated Activities Assistant to join our vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and promoting wellness in underserved communities. In this role, you will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to enrich their health and spirits. The Activities Assistant will plan, implement, and monitor wellness and recreational programs that support the physical, emotional, and social needs of our patients. Plan and execute various therapeutic and recreational activities that cater to the physical and psychological needs of patients. Assist in assessing patients’ needs and interests to develop engaging programs. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure activities complement medical treatments and overall care plans. Monitor and document patient participation and progress within activities. Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring all resources are available and in good condition for activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team Creative skills in crafting engaging activities Basic knowledge of therapeutic recreation and holistic health approaches Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid certification.
