Sanford Health, one of the most expansive health systems in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role involves working across our vast network of clinics, hospitals, and senior living facilities to provide nutritional expertise and personalized diet plans for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of nutritional science, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting health and wellness. Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients. Monitor patient progress and adjust their nutritional plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, food selection and preparation. Develop instructional materials and conduct educational workshops to promote health and prevent disease through proper nutrition. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure the meal plans meet the dietary requirements of patients. Keep up-to-date records of patients' progress and communicate relevant information to other healthcare providers.
