Job Description:

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Technologist to join our diverse team across our healthcare system. This role is vital in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures. In this key position, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing technical support that is critical in our cardio diagnostic process. Perform non-invasive cardiovascular tests including EKGs, Holter Monitoring, and stress tests. Assist physicians with invasive procedures including catheterizations. Maintain and operate cardiac monitoring devices. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, positioning patients and ensuring comfort. Manage data from diagnostic procedures and report findings to relevant doctors. Maintain a clean and safe environment that complies with all regulatory guidelines. Proficiency with EKGs and other diagnostic imaging. Excellent understanding of cardiac care and cardiovascular systems. Strong analytical abilities to interpret medical data. Good interpersonal skills for patient interactions. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
