In this role, you will be pivotal in providing top-notch pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensation of medications, and contributing to our diverse healthcare solutions. You will work closely with medical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes and improve patient health. Verify prescription orders to ensure accuracy and suitability of prescribed medications. Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy for patients. Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns. Provide detailed medication counseling to patients. Monitor patient drug therapies and report any adverse reactions or interactions. Maintain accurate records of medication stock and compliance with regulatory requirements. Contribute to the research and analysis of pharmaceuticals used within the clinic. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work meticulously with attention to detail. Capability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current and valid state Pharmacist license required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification advantageous.
