We are currently seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medication Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe distribution and documentation of medication administration under the supervision of registered nurses, adhering to our commitment to holistic health outcomes. This position requires a deep empathy, a vigilant attention to detail, and a dedication to the health standards that define our community services. Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records under supervision of registered nurse. Verify patient identity and confirm that proper medication is given in correct dose and time. Observe patients for drug reactions and report any adverse reactions to medical staff. Educate patients about medication usage and precautions. Assist in updating and maintaining accurate patient records. Participate in health team meetings to discuss patient care. Maintain clean and organized medication supply to ensure safety in medicine handling. Strong understanding of medication types, uses, and administration Accuracy and attention to detail in drug dispensing Effective communication skills for educating patients and interacting with healthcare team Ability to document and maintain clear and accurate medication records Skills in observing and recognizing adverse reactions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) license required CPR and First Aid certification preferred
