Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our sunset shift. This role is instrumental in helping to maintain the highest quality of care and daily comfort for our patients, primarily focusing on our elderly population within underserved communities. As a CNA at Good Samaritan Health Center, your work will directly contribute to our mission of improving holistic health and wellness outcomes. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to rejuvenating the lives of our community members. Provide basic care to patients and assist them in daily activities such as eating, bathing, and moving. Monitor and report changes in patient health, behavior, and needs to nursing staff. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients, adhering to all facility and healthcare regulations and guidelines. Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality. Complete routine tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Handle and supervise activities designed to entertain and engage patients during the sunset shift. Document patient interactions as needed for medical records. Empathy and compassion Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Physically able to lift and support patients Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required
