Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing exceptional care tailored to underserved communities. As a vital member of our healthcare team, the CNA will support our mission by offering holistic, patient-centered care, ensuring that each patient feels understood and valued. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on improving health outcomes and enhancing the wellbeing of our community. Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Knowledge of medical terminology Strong observational skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Capacity for handling confidential information Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CNA certification CPR and BLS certification
