nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing
job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements -

Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:
12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - PCU
Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to
7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Every other weekend and every
other holiday requirement /n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-5,
occasionally 5-6 on nights, with PCU level care overflow at 1:3 /n•
Must have PCU experience and ability to read cardiac strips /n•
Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Care for adults and
geriatrics with conditions including cardiac caths, EP studies,
pacers, ETOH, COVID BiPap, general surgical with heart history,
pneumonia, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, and sepsis /n•
Required to titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro,
Nipride, Lasix, and low dose Dopamine /n• Must be able to read and
interpret cardiac strips independently /n• Floating requirements to
all areas as helping hands, PCU for full patient load, MS for full
assignment, and some ER holds/boarding /n• Any color scrubs
permitted /n• Two 12-hour shifts of unit-specific orientation
(Friday and Saturday of first week) /n• Epic charting system
experience preferred /n• 32-bed unit with telemetry monitoring and
respiratory equipment including BiPap, trachs, and Airvo /n• First
travelers accepted /n• 50-mile radius rule applies /n/n Facility:

the community. The facility features a 32-bed PCU stepdown unit
that specializes in cardiac and telemetry care, equipped with
