Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Turtle Lake, ND Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Turtle Lake, North Dakota, 58575! ID: 75939500 Shift: 12H Nights eow, nights, first to float Description: Unit : ER / MedSurg / Swing Bed UnitCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCCNO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT- Trauma Level?: Critical Access (Rural Location)- of Beds: 25- How many years of experience required?: 2 yrs - Previous Travel experience required?: no - EMR: EPIC - Ratios: 1:8. Utilize team nursing- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Dementia, dependent older adults, diabetes, rehab/restorative care post acute illness, IV medication, fluid and blood administration, COVID, wounds, initial care of trauma patients in the ER, exacerbation of chronic illnesses, Geriatric population, general rehab post-surgery.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care geriatric patient care- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, blood transfusions- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Yes- Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Team assignment, not individual assignments - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes - Nurse Aides/CNA on each shift - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Patient managed CPAP only - Are RNs required to do anything with RT Equipment besides troubleshoot?: no - Do you have Tele/Monitor Techs in the ER? Are RNs required to read their own strips? RNs must read and interpret- Shifts & Scheduling: 12hr Shifts, 0645-1915, 1845-0715- Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?: Team scheduling, block scheduling is possible- must be requested- Weekend Requirement: Every other- Holiday Requirement: Alternating/As scheduled- usually every other holiday- Is there call or a standby requirement? No- Floating Requirements: ER / Medsurg Support- Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Scrubs, no specific color - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 3 Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
