Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated Med Aide to
join our team, providing exceptional care in underserved
communities with a focus on holistic health and wellness outcomes.
The Med Aide will be instrumental in administering medications and
treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting our
healthcare staff in delivering high-quality services that align
with our mission of comprehensive and inclusive care. Administer
daily medications and treatments to patients under the supervision
of healthcare professionals. Record and monitor patient responses
to medications, noting all adverse reactions. Maintain accurate
patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with
health regulations. Assist in the routine care of patients,
including checking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
team members to ensure a cohesive care environment. Participate in
health center initiatives and continuing education to promote a
holistic approach to health. Strong knowledge of medication
administration and health safety standards. Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to
multi-task and prioritize work. Knowledge of electronic health
records systems. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic,
culturally diverse team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
status required. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
preferred.
