Sanford Health, a premier health system serving several states with a comprehensive range of medical services, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our radiology department, assisting radiologists and technologists in the preparation and execution of diagnostic imaging procedures. This position requires an individual who can ensure patient comfort and safety while supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic information to aid in patient care. Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment and materials. Assist radiologists during procedures by preparing and positioning patients. Ensure all imaging equipment is functioning properly before use. Maintain records of imaging procedures and patient details securely. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Provide support and comfort to patients throughout their visit. Manage the scheduling of radiology appointments and the processing of completed tests. Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and safety protocols Competency in using radiological equipment and software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks efficiently Empathy and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification or completion of a radiology assistant program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is highly desirable.
