In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting our radiology staff in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients while maintaining high standards of practice. This position requires an individual who can effectively support the radiology team in both administrative and clinical tasks, including preparation of patients and equipment, assistance during procedures, and ensuring accurate record keeping. Prepare radiology rooms and equipment for procedures. Assist radiologists during examinations. Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after radiology procedures. Manage radiology appointments and patient records. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining supplies. Follow radiology safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation. Knowledge of radiology terminology and equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to follow strict procedural and safety guidelines. Comfortable working with patients and sensitive to their needs. Capability to perform both independently and as part of a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Radiologist Assistant (RA) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
