Job Description:

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our team of healthcare professionals across our state-of-the-art facilities. As a leading health system, Sanford Health is committed to providing exceptional care, and the Cardiac Sonographer will play a key role in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases using diagnostic imaging technology. This role requires precision and compassion, as you will be integral in patient evaluations, playing a pivotal role in our cardiac care teams. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular examinations. Analyze patient histories and medical records to accurately assess patient conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive cardiovascular care plans. Maintain and calibrate sonography equipment. Document procedural data and interpret diagnostic results for clinical staff. Educate patients and their families about procedures and cardiovascular health management. Proficiency in the use of diagnostic imaging equipment. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong observational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Additional certifications like Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred but not required.
