Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/ED
Swing RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift:
36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
required, including one year of MedSurg and ED experience, with
charge experience. License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - One year of MedSurg and ED experience
- Charge experience - Ability to titrate drips Description: This
position requires a Registered Nurse to work in an Emergency Room
setting. The unit accommodates 22 beds with specific ratios: 1 to 4
for acute care, 1 to 6 for swing bed patients. The Registered Nurse
will float to the Emergency Department as needed and may work in a
charge capacity. Experience with normal titratable and set rate
drips is necessary. Registered Nurses will read EKG strips in the
Emergency Department. Nurse aides may be available to assist on the
unit. Common diagnoses and patient types include a variety of acute
and swing bed conditions. Scheduling includes 12-hour shifts, with
every other weekend and holiday requirements. Flexibility for call
or standby may be required. Further orientation to the unit will be
provided. Cancellation policy allows for the potential cancellation
of shifts during the assignment. Requirements Required for
