Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM /n• Day/night rotation will not occur more than weekly /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Holiday shifts as needed /n• Nurse to patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6 /n• 30-bed medical surgical unit /n• Care for patients with total joint replacements, spinal surgery, urology procedures, abdominal surgery, bariatrics, and medical overflow /n• Experience with post-operative care, early ambulation, hemo hemovacs, JP drains, and colostomies /n• Manage PCA pumps, occasional heparin drips, and TPN /n• Float to medical and telemetry units as needed /n• Work with nasal cannula equipment and remote telemetry packs /n• Bedside shift reporting required /n• Any color scrubs permitted /n• EPIC charting system /n• BLS certification required /n• BSN not required /n• Surgical experience preferred /n• First-time travelers accepted /n• Must live more than 50 miles from facility /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services to the community.
